2019 MGMA AWARDS VOTING
ATEEZ (에이티즈) is up for Top New Male Artist of the year in the new MGMA Awards!
**UPDATE: ATEEZ did not receive enough votes in the early round to be nominated for the Global Popularity award
This is the first year for the new M2 X Genie Music Awards (MGMA) show, and ATEEZ is nominated in the New Male Artist music category. There are five award tiers: Music Categories (10 categories), Top Music/Top Selling Artist, Top Artist (pulled from highest ranking in each of the Music Categories), Genie Music Popularity Award, and Global Popularity Award.
Unfortunately, international ATINY can only really help support in voting for the Top Artist Award and the Global Popularity Award. Here is our breakdown of the voting in each category, including who can vote, when you can vote, and where you can vote. WITH K-ATINY AND I-ATINY WORKING TOGETHER WE CAN DO THIS! FIGHTING!
MUSIC CATEGORIES: ATEEZ is up for the New Male Artist category. Voting for the Music Categories is open for Korean users ONLY [June 20th (11am KST) through July 31st (12am KST)] on Genie Music website.
Music Category Scoring:
30% - Digital Song Rating
20% - Social Rating (includes MV views, Social Media Mentions, and M2 Video Content)
30% - Genie Music Website Voting (Korean users only)
20% - Judges’ Rating
TOP ARTIST: The top five artists from each music category as of July 2nd are nominated for the Top Artist award. So, we need all of our K-ATINY friends to vote for ATEEZ (에이티즈) in the Top New Male Artist music category! Voting is open July 4th (11am KST / July 3rd 7pm PST/10pm EST) to July 31st (12am KST / July 30th 8am PST/11am EST).

Tweets w/official hashtag + the artists official name [ #MGMAVOTE #ATEEZ ] will be counted as one vote (only votes from real, active, public accounts will be counted)
Retweeting a valid tweet from another account will be counted as a valid vote
Using both official Korean/English name is acceptable
One tweet with more than one artist hashtag will not be counted
GLOBAL POPULARITY AWARD: This is really where I-ATINY will have to pull together! Voting will be open to “Global” users ONLY [July 4th (11am KST / July 3rd 7pm PST/10pm EST) through July 31st (12am KST / July 30th 8am PST/11am EST)] .on MWAVE. Scoring for this award is 100% based on voting through the Mwave website.
GENIE MUSIC POPULARITY AWARD: Voting will be open to Korean users ONLY [July 4th (11am KST) through July 31st (12am KST)] on the Genie Music website. Scoring for this award is 100% based on votes given through the Genie Music website.
The MGMA Awards will be held on August 1, 2019 at the Olympic Park KSPO DOME in Seoul.
